When car had turbo i exploded a cv joint in 3rd gear at about 60 mph. That was the hardest i got on it simply because i didn't want to break it.

So I should probably not beat on mine too hard "when" I get it running? lol

Its not the cv's you have to worry about. Its the glass diff.

Though if you're running a stock clutch I'm betting its gonna slip.

Definatly so, The weight of the 16's and traction would likly blow a cv joint. Will run with 12'" wheels, easy on the throttle out of the hole and if itsspins a little it beats breaking.

Ehh in my experience smaller wheels and tires = faster. Even with more power.
