Most guys on CP.com who have ITBs, use bike stuff. I think it would be baller. That and a lightened flywheel combined with a crank that's been knife-edged. Mmmm, rev happy.

These are mechanical carbs. They're pretty looking. Are the emissions people going to let something like this pass on former EFI cars? Or is this strictly race track gear?
a) they are a pain to tune
b) they are a pain to balance
I've had friends with built honda's and mazdas go "RAWR LOOK AT MY ITB'S 200 WHP" and then get sick of their car running like poop, switch to a well designed throttle body and intake manifold and gain hp/tq and driveabilty

Just food for thought.
Yes I can readily imagine the presto-electronic generation immediately becoming frustrated with old-fashioned-type tuning. And multiple intake (carb?) setups have always been a chore to tune, back then too. But some guys absolutely loved it and spent hours bent over with their stethoscopes, screwdrivers and wrenches.
I watched this plus a few others over the past year. This is complete Bulls&*t stuff. Anyone with a beginners driver's license can 'pretend to drive' like that. 40 years ago Grand Prix Wrestling was purported to be real and now I guess it is 'drift' driving. I don't doubt the cars are real but putting 200 hp up front and then purposely leaving the handbrake on is just plain stupid. Fewer people get hurt I guess (at 60 mph while looking like 100) and lots of smoke and seemingly out of control cars seem to mollify the patrons. I'll pass.
