Sounds like a great product and a great company..
I've always had great luck with ebay parts. I bought a 36 dollar set of headers for a del Sol and they looked & preformed perfectly.
but for the same price, you could buy another 1.8 long block with low miles.
I could see rebuilding instead, but i'd go with higher compression pistons if i was going through all that trouble.Last edited by Fester's Quest; 01-08-2013, 03:10 AM.

What psi are you looking to run your turbo at ?
Please, someone intervene if you know how much boost a stock BP can take, but judging by how reliable they are... i wouldn't think 3-5 lbs of boost would make it wear out pre-maturely.
I bet you could buy a junk yard long block + turbo for just a little more than what you would pay for the rebuild kit.

just like 8 psi daily driven then I was planning to race it at the drags so maybe alittle more after that. Its just theres no other engines like this on my island haha. I was think the kit like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/CP-Forged-Tu...18bf45&vxp=mtr but it is pretty pricing and I wanted all the gasket too. What do you think?

You'll have to get eurostiva to confirm this but if I remember correctly his BP has stock internals and he is running 20psi of boost. I could be TOTALLY wrong and I apologize if I am, but that's what I remember him saying. Try looking at eurostiva's build threads and you might find the info.88L - Awaiting bigger and better things
