Yeah, that's pretty expensive... I guess you pay for bolt-on. It is REALLY nice, though.Last edited by DriverOne; 01-25-2013, 03:24 PM.In love with a MadScientist!:thumbright:

It's pricey for sure but boy would I love to go back to maintaining a mechanically operated vehicle without electronic sensors or controls. Webers were lusted over 4 decades ago by slalom racers and were always more of less out of reach to hobbyists even then.

!!!! Whoa! That IS expensive!
...and its nothing really but a Weber 32/36 carb you can buy here for about $265. Only issue would be the adaptor to fit the Festiva intake pattern, and its not hard to make one! (I did!)Dan

Re: Australia Weber kit specs
Like I said in the other thread. You could get away with putting it on and running it without tunning it but chances are very slim jets would be right. When I got my weber it came with 150 main jets and it ran fine, I drove it for about 2 weeks before jetting because the back of my car was covered in black crap and my gas mileage was way down. I went from 150 mains to 100 primary and 120 secondary, which is a pretty big change. Now my case I was running way rich which explains the black crap on the back of my car...if you were to put the carb on and run it and it was very lean, then you run the risk of damage to the engine. Lean condition will burn your valves in a fairly short period of time.
