    here is an awesome thread for cleaning a block rather simply which i had never heard of before.



    seems too good to be true... but happy i found it.

    actually reading the article, people wer complaining that it ruined carbies.. i'm over this already. degreaser and a gerni thanks.

      Worth paying a machine shop every penny just so I don't have to clean up the mess.. if I was cleaning blocks every month I might consider this.

        Did a pinesol soak on some gummed up carbs on my motorcycle after last winter. Stuff works amazing! Wish I would have thought of that when I was cleaning my transmission. Though I sure getting pinesol inside the tranny would probably be a bad thing. So I'm not sure how that would have been done.

          I just take all of my greasy, grimy, paint peeing and rusted parts to the metal laundry.
          Keep away from dangerous, sterilizing, impotence inducing chemicals.

                yeah the fumes are something of a mystery.. might pay to do this outside or in a well ventilated area and use gloves instead of just touching the metal.
