Me thinks this is exactly what I need for my B6 swap. I did upgrade to the B6 ECU and larger B6 injectors, but adding the ported head, bigger exhaust and even the mild FMS cam most likely leaned it out. I was considering installing an aftermarket adjustable FPR anyway....but you just did all the fab work to make it an easy bolt-on. It also makes tuning by "seat of the pants" and reading the plugs a little more feasible.
It also makes it easier (and cheaper) for guys upgrading to a larger engine like a SOHC B6 or B8 and be able to tune it without switching out the stock ECU or injectors.Brian

Hey matt would this fpr be able to keep up with your header and a 2" exhaust with an intake pod filter and no other mods to the car?
Or would it need a bigger fuel pump?
I understand with bigger mods it needs the fuel pump. But with just an intake and exhaust would it work alone?

The stock setup should be capable with that. You would really only need it if you have had your head ported and one of Matts cams.Last edited by gergorian; 03-27-2013, 01:05 PM.

I would consider an adjustable fpr a worthy addition when any perfomance mod is done. Not only does it allow you to increase fuel pressure, but reduce it as well. I have found EFI festivas run 11.8 to 12.2 afr @ WOT in stock or near stock form. In this case you can increase HP as well as MPG by lowering the fuel pressure.PROPOGATE! AND FACILITATE!

Awesome!
In that case this will be my next addition after the exhaust setup.
Thx for the quick reply.
Can't wait to get everything setup.
Thx for supplying the quality products.

Looks sweet! Income tax returns are ALMOST here.......I feel the need for some Festiva Goodies! Or Mustang Goodies....I'm torn between them. I do need to get a set of valve springs for sure, but do I buy a custom cam for the B6 or a set of 4.10 gears for the Mustang????Brian
