  • Oil temp gauge install

I have a Ractive carbon fiber oil temp gauge a friend gave me and i would like to install it on my aspire. I have it already in and I'm using it for looks but its come time to actually get it working. Does anyone have an ideal place to put the sending unit on the pan or some tips on where to place it. Thanks for your help

Installed mine about an inch left of the drain plug in the sump.
Sump removed, drilled and tapped sump, put guide nut in (name? Hollow bolt?) Then welded for good measure. Sensor then screwed into that with adequate plumbers tape for good seal. Can't tell you how well it works yet though, motor still not finished
60% of the time it works, every time!
