Two tranny questions

1. I was looking for the writeup/tutorial on E, F and G transmissions but couldn't find it. (Seems like it should be a sticky in this forum BTW.) Anyone know where it is?

2. Has anyone installed a Protege F tranny along with
(a) Aspire front knuckles,
(b) Capri front knuckles?
If so, what combo of axles and LCAs do you need for these two situations?

EDIT: post #8 in the above thread tells me that I need to use F axles on an F tranny, because of the inner spline count being different from E axles. So what LCAs do I use, Festy or Aspire, with the Aspire front brake swap or the Capri one?

Aspire swap = festy arms

Capri swap = aspire arms


Festy arms = bf axles (86-89 323, n/a Capri etc) OR auto festy axles

Aspire arms = bg axles (90+ 323, protege, mx3 etc) or auto aspire

Pretty sure that's how it goes.
