  • DAE HP VAF ADAPTOR/CAI STARTER KIT

I started building these about 3 years ago, but ceased production due to lack of interest at that time. In the last year there has been much interest in the parts that we produce. Alot of FF.com members have been asking for my cone filter kits again, so here it is. This is the same set-up I am running on our 117 WHP NA B3 Festiva.

^That sounds like a bit much for $60.

Assuming it's the filter and adapter, it's still a great deal being that it's an adapter design that makes sense vs. the eBay crap, and a good filter is $30+ by itself.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

It comes as shown, because every member i've talked to is not running the same intake set up,so this alows the user to build his own tube, whether custom or stock and also keeps the price down as most of you have some fab skills. It will also allow you to relocate the VAF, It works quite well as it has a radiused air enty built in.

Filter looks pretty big. How's it fit behind the headlight housing?

Right now VAF is mounted directly to TB, as I am running a sheet metal intake. Filter is right behind right side headlight. I have some pictures of filter adapter mounted to VAF when I had the stock intake on it. I started a thread 2 or 3 years ago, when I first started selling parts. I forget the title of the thread tho. I think it was "Matt's N/A B3 Build Stage 1" but not sure. Maybe you can find it.

This is how I had the air filter mounted when I was running a stock intake manifold
