  • brake hardline junction relocation?!

So in lew if my other thread, I still can't get past the idea that I don't like where this junction is. I know it would be difficult to get to with the engine (b6d) in the car.

How hard would it be to, or has anyone relocated it? And at time of relocation would it be a good idea to switch to manual brakes?

Buy some brake line, move the dist. block to where you want it, install lines, and bleed the brakes.

Why would you want to have manual brakes, if you have power brakes? Are you needing the room? If I had power brakes, I would want to keep them!

just realized this is the wrong forum.

I guess for simplicity and feedback/response.

Well out of the seven b6d cars I have built and the four b6t cars I can say that I have never had to touch the ac line distribution block for any reason . Oops the brake proportion valve .
New build on the way .

Bottom hard line on that junction.
I think it got snagged as was lowering transmission.
