Anyone a bit of a wiring tech that has thought about making up "splicing adaptors"?

if anyone is interested in doing this, i have a 1991 B3 SOHC "Carb based" Ford Festiva AU model and am swapping for a Ford Capri B6 NA DOHC "EFI based" swap.

Much of the population of this forum is north america, have not seen carbed harness other than 89 and 1988 cars in the us. I would get in touch with KIADOHC, from Philippines. He's done some pretty awesome things, even carbed some efi only engines like a miata and the 1.5 familia. He probably wont mass produce anything for several people to buy but he can sell you something to make any combination happen, or he can tell you how to do it yourself what to look for, what donor cars pieces to use etc.

not to burst your bubble, but there's no way a carb ECU can run an EFI system, nor can the carb harness accommodate EFI outputs (injectors). your OP is asking if one can mate a banana with a prickly pear by using a stick.... it just isn't gonna happen.

This should be exactly what you need for your swap, along with adding a fuel pump.

Your full on right darn tootin'.. i hear i can use an EFI Festiva fueltank and sender... or, i can use the original Capri fuel sender/pump with Carb Festiva tank and use festiva power and ground wires...

The capri fuel sender/pump is exactly the same diameter as the festiva CARB fuel tank opening and to boot i've noticed the Capri sender unit has a fuel return fashioned into the sender itself, meaning i can seal up the original return with selleys epoxyweld (fuel resistant as well), but, then i got told not to on the facebook page as i'll be needing the original fuel return.... hrrrm i'm thinking.

however.. i'm possibly thinking, just get the new tank and sender and be done with the old tank.. might just be easier. but the wiring harness information is golden.. thankyou immensely for the link.
