I apologize if this is common knowledge, but I can't seem to make sense of this .I ask because I live in an apartment and have 0 shop space..
I have an 88 carby.
I know the B6 is a direct swap. problem is almost every b6 I have seen is a FI engine. I know the 323 is a good source of B6 engines, but I dont recall seeing any carb models. The Mercury tracer had some carbed B6 engines right?
Since I don't have any shop space, I would like to just unhook, replace and hook up the engine without swapping intakes, changing my fuel system to FI, adding ecu's etc. Is this possible on a carb model? Am I relegated to using just the block and swapping the rest over?
