just wondering about a supercharger

I was looking into superchargers for possible ideas on getting more power on the BP, does anyone know if the mazda protege or miata bp ever had a super charger?

Should have come to FF06, there was a supercharged miata there.

Here's a kit on ebay, I think they are for the 1.6 but I'm sure with some work they could work on the BP:

what would you have to do to change make it work on a 1.8 I wonder, does anyone know?

Check over at the maita forums/sites. I'm sure they do it or have 1.8 setups.

As per their site "Where have the Uberchargers gone?

We've had to remove the Uberchargers from our inventory for a couple of reasons. First, availability of the superchargers themselves. There are some problems that make it very expensive to obtain the compressors at this point. There are no US sources for the compressors at this moment and we do not know when they will become available again. It's something beyond our control.

On top of that, our split with Bell Engineering has depleted stock of a number of critical components. We are looking at alternatives, but for the time being we do not have any superchargers available. "
