custom distributor

Has anyone ever adapted a distributor intended for another vehicle into a Festiva? The B3 distributor housing is a one piece diecasting. I don't know what is inside say a Pertronix performance distributor, that would fit. Pertronix coils are internally resisted.

I saw a writeup on here that a guy used a modified miata distributor I think.
