If you know how to solder and dont mind the work you can buy an un-assembled megasquirt ecu for less.

^^i tried that... Long story short, I don't have a working standalone.... It's worth the extra money to buy the stratified units plus he'll help you get your car running

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I'm also running a stratified ecu!

Can't beat the built price for a ecu. Imagine what ford would charge you for a stock ecu. This one you can add anything too. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1389360389.305002.jpg tuner studio shot.

Looks like it's basically the Megasquirt PnP, but a couple hunnert bux cheaper.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder why the huge price difference. DIYAutoTune never really struck me as a huge mark up company.

I've been using the stratified on my dd b3t car for the past 1.5 years. No issues with it at all. Run a wide band to it. The factory o2s suck. Any questions I can help. I run tunerstudio on my Dell venue 8 pro setup with blue tooth. It's bad a**.

I've been driving mine a lot in the last few months. Couple trips down south over an 1.5 each way. Cars been running great. Slips the clutch in 4-5 on 16 lbs is my only problem. I'm running b6t injectors and they are still running fine I've seen 8.9 afr running 15lbs so they will go further. Trying to keep tires on the front is a different story.

I've been wanting a new stratified setup for my car. Kinda irritated though that they wouldn't help me at all with my earlier Lex ECU.
