  • BP swap

So i did a b8me swap 2 years ago, but i drove it way to hard and blew a hole in the block at 5000 rpm. I raced everyone and everything i could and it was awesome.

My little green booger has been sitting on my drive way for a year now and i snapped today around 130 pm.
I went for a b8me but when i got there i was walking the lines and i found an escort gt with 240k. Spark plugs, coolant and oil were good. I took it. I just got back.

I will be taking the b8me out tomorrow.

My pictures are not uploading properly... I put them on my google account ill figure it out later.

I didn't even look all i saw was a bp lol i have to go back for the ecu in the morning. I want to do a megasquirt but that's going to take some time to get organized and i need to be able to get some gratification for all this work asap.
I'll check the year tomorrow. I should buy my self a rebuild kit for this as i already have a turbo manifold and turbo ready for this bp.

              I might be wrong but don't think I m . 96 is obd2 . Wiring and ECM are dif .
End of 95 and all 96 had a tabular exhaust header . Look for a tone ring and pick up sensor on the front pulley . If it's there then u got a 96 . Like I said I might be wrong .
New build on the way .

Its looking like its a 96. I'm going to start looking at using my b8me ecu for now with all the b8 sensors and i am looking at miata standalones right now.
Went back to the garage tonight and got the b8 ready to pull for tomorrow.
