    Don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but has anybody put a turbo on an automatic Festiva? Did your performance increase a little? I was thinking of doing this to whitie III if it improves the performance just a little bit.....

      turbo on stock automatic festiva.... does that speed it up at take offs?

        Myself would be scoping around for an MTX. They're a lot more lively, and more fuel efficient. I can say this because I've driven both over the course of the past 10 years. Some sort of turbo on an ATX is gonna be an expensive custom undertaking (who's going to do all the pipes?) and all it might do is just keep up with a stock MTX.
        Probably easier, cheaper, faster to search out a B6 donor and graft it in instead.

          Hey Bert...he asked about boosting an AUTOMATIC festiva. Not a manual. He has an automatic. And probably wants to keep it that way.

          The manuals are more efficient and quicker in stock form. Other than that the automatic is a better transmission.

                I got both a MTX and ATX festiva but only wanna put a turbo on the ATX
