  • STROKER KITS

    Hay Guys

Has anyone every played around with a stroker kit, or better yet, ever found one for sale, i managed to find one in the states, but at 5100 us, its a massive price to pay, and the website dosnt seem to be all to legit, it had some sort of turbo for goats promotion going on,

Im just wondering if a festiva exists with a b6 or a bp with a stroker kit, and if not, maybe i should attempt to be the first Festiva in the world to do it, I got a bpt engine awaiting my car but i want to push every last drop of power i possibly can, im aiming to run a quator mile in 11seconds

I can't think of one that exists off the top of my head. What I do know is that Mextiva's car did 12's with a 1.6L and Eurotiva's car does 11's with a 1.8L.

Im aiming for tens, im going with a bpt motor, i have one, paid 150nz for it, but its not enough for me, within two years i want to have the quickest street legal festiva in the world, and also prove to people festivas are awesome. Flyin miata was the site i found, im sure there kits would work on a bpt in a different orintation.

Maybe its time to start saving, i already am looking at 11g for the build, but whats an extra 10g on the engine, i guess i will also need to custom built axels etc, maybe i should go with a complete awd conversion, even more work

Time to head on over to the lvvta certifier i use, and get some more info, luckyily they support my project, so i wont have certification hold ups when shes done

meh, if you gotta "be the best", dont drop 10 g's on a stroker to turn a 1.8 into a 2.1 just get a KL and build that with good pistons and rods and have 2.5 liters with probably half the money.

Weak tranny is why I started the high hp tranny thread. But I realized that with my build it was gonna cost 6-8 g's in tranny alone. So I had to reassess my build. Still think my car will be capable of 10's. Just not with me behind the wheel.

Yea klze v6 set up, I have a v6 twin turbo but a 6a12, produces 240hp at the wheels at the moment on just a retune, I was told running a smaller turbo that spools quick and can handle 16psi is the way to go, run it on 12 and I should see the engine at a max of 270, if I do supporting mods, hate the car tho two big for me, I only have it becouse I don't get spat on or bottled driving it tho, unlike the festiva, she's got many digs from bottles and spit I still ain't cleaned off
