  • Will this work???

    I'm building my b6t, and am not using a/c or power steering.

    Will I be able to set timing correctly without the serpentine pulley?



    What do y'all think?

    Yes that's how mine is the marks are on the inner pully.
    Btw what alternator you got on the thing?

        Really mine looks nothing like that it doesn't have them cooling fins on the front it just looks like a stock festiva alternator.
        I also what top cover are you going with I was gonna do the spaced stock mount but didn't want the hole from the stock mount.
        I thought I seen were you could use a BP top cover. Is this what your using.

          I've still got the b6t cover. But yeah... I've gotta cut it.
          Will a both cover fit better?
          I was almost going to go without

          The alternator has cooling fins most prob because I'm in Australia and our cars have to survive 3 months of 40+ deg C weather every year.

          That's my guess anyway.
          The alternator came out of the Capri donor car with the engine
