It is almost time to start my engine build. Though I have never driven a forced air induction car of any kind (except for my Twin Turbo'd Cintas delivery truck 6 years ago), I wanted to make sure of what everyones thoughts were on the subject so I could make a somwhat informed decision. It seems turbo is it. I just want to keep it simple under the hood which is why I was thinking n/a. 1/4 mile times are not my goal but it sure would be nice. I just want to scare the crap out of every Vette, Camaro, Stang, etc. owner out there and have fun in the process. That's about all there is around here. If I end up with a good race car, good. Probably be more of a road-course car than a 1/4 car honestly. Even then probably won't see much of that either.

Keep the responses coming. It seems to be a pretty interesting topic. For me anyway.

My idea was to compare n/a vs. forced air with ALL other things being equal. It seems you guys like your turbos. Sweet! Built urbo b3 here we come.

If it's turbo it's has to be over 12 lbs.

You didn't ride in my car at only 6lbs though  but I agree rule #1 shouldn't be broken, 12lbs or more lol

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

If dickmeyer could build ab3 into a small beast. Imagine an na bp with that much love given to it. Custom intake manifold. Header. High compression.
