Sorry if its been covered but I couldn't find any badh2. Im a mad keen 4x4 person but got a 1996 festy 1.5L for work. I keep blowing diff center 3 one now looking for a 4th one. Its the shaft for the spider gears that keeps letting go sending spider gears out the side of the box and even had one in my bell housing lol. Is there a stonger center I can put in

Welcome to the site. Since you have a 96 Festy with a 1.5 you must be in either NZ, AU or ?
A little more info would help, type transmission fluid you use in it, turbo motor? How do you drive it? Wide open with power shifts? Several things can cause that to happen and a most involve excessive power on a stock transmission.

What on earth? I've been pushing 16 pounds of boost with an estimated 200whp through my stock differential for over two years now and have never had a differential/drivetrain issue.

Stop wheel hopping and that should help keep the diffs in one place. The case can't take the torque that's caused by the wheel suddenly getting traction. It causes the case to flex and letting that shaft move out of where it should be: then the transmission explodes because things bind up. Smooth tire spin that transitions into traction without wheel hop will not cause an issue.

Sounds like you just need to tighten the nut behind the wheel!

Perhaps new struts are in order as well to help keep hop to a minimum.
