Hi friends. Getting ready to order intake aluminum and couplers for my turbo b3. Do any of you b+t guys have a preference on drawing through or blowing through your vaf. I plan on doing a non recirculation bov. So atmosphere dump. It'll be directly after the turbo. Inputs are welcome. Thanks

I'd take a gander at the Probe forums. A lot of guys there seem to like converting to VTA blow off valves. Around these parts, most people (without EMS) just stick with tried and true by-pass valves like the 1G Eclipse unit. Mine was $20 at a junkyard and holds 16 psi all day every day.1988 Chevy Sprint Turbo 997cc

If you aren't going to recirculate, you will want to have a blow through VAF that is located after your BOV. If it is before the turbo, when the BOV is open, it will tell the engine there is more air coming in then there actually is.The Festiva Store

I did blow through on my b6t. It was a lot better. I was using vent to atmosphere. Otherwise like nonamekid says it thinks there is more air so it goes rich every time you blow off charged air. The only problem with it is the cap on the vaf you will blow the silicon instantly on 9 lbs.1988 Ford Festiva "Sonic" BPT g25mr MS2 standalone ecu, FOTY '11, Best Beater FMV, Fan Favorite FMVI
