pedal swap difficulty: Auto -to- Manual

Just wondering how easy (or difficult) is it to swap out the pedal assembly from a auto to a manual?

How much dash disassembly is required and are small, little fingers required in the limited space? Seat removal and on your back necessary?

Yes remove the seat and place a pillow over the ridge.

Swapping the bracket assy is half the job. Plan on spending one weekend just doing this.

It will take different length extensions. A swivel. deep and shallow sockets.

I don't remember removing anything from the dash. May have to loosen and move the steering colum.

The manual petal assy will show where the bolts are. The bracket bolts also hold on the brake booster. Someone will need to hold the booster in place when you put it back together.

Before you put the petal assy in put new petal pads and rubber stops on.

Just get under the dash and take it one nut at a time.

The nuts are inside.
