Of course the guy operating the loader used to pull the engine set the car back down on the manifold I am getting it Monday. Its just needs the poor protege destine for the crusher to be moved.

The moment I have been waiting for. I now have the b8-me out of the 92 protégé. Going back for more parts but so far I got what is I'm the photo. I wish I could have grabbed all the rest but the salvage lot was closing.

Stock trans is fine for the B8ME, and if your lucky a quality stock clutch will hold the power. FordFester used a stock clutch from an autoparts store near him and towed a trailer across country with his b8 and e series tranny. I think that car still has the same clutch and the new owner still tows stuff with the car.

Well then guess I will keep stock trans but I might pull the f series and keep it handy

That 5 speed is the f series, right? It's decent, but not the best option for power upgrades in the future. But an upgrade for sure over that e.

Yep just drill a hole for the pass side mount., untape the injector harness, move the tps wires, re tape. Grind pass side axle clearance on oil pan and done. Don't forget the vaf , and ecu, you'll want those. And the iac plug is different so cut itoff of the protege. That looks like a b8me, 103hp/113tq

Is yours dohc? That protege is sohc. Also is it just the passenger engine mount that may need modifying?
