Hydraulic G-Series Trans

I have searched Google and tried the search function here with very few if any clear results.

Has anybody swapped in a G-series trans with a hydraulic clutch? Where I live it is getting hard to come by any of the vehicles with a cable g-series, but I can find the Hydraulic ones easily.

It's been done. There's an adapter to actuate the hydro clutch, by the cable too. Damkid made a couple batches

Check out my build thread I made a bracket and used a mustang cable. I would like to replicate but I need to get the funds so I can have the plate plasma cut.

do you think the mustang clutch cable would work on a G trans in a festiva also? which years stang?

If you can just find one, you can swap the inside parts around a bunch. I've done it a couple of times! (I really need to watch my transmission fluid more carefully...)

Clutch cables on Rockauto go for pretty cheap ($21 or so)
