  • Aspire wiring bundle in a Festiva?

Will a 1996 Aspire complete wiring bundle work in a 1993 Ford Festiva?

The 93 Festiva had some very hacked and missing wiring runs and I think it will be easier just replacing the whole thing.

Also, with simple mods, will the Aspire wiring work with a soon to be installed B8 engine in the 93 Festiva?

    Thanks!

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot....but it will be for a engine swap.

Nope, ECU pinouts and most of the other wiring is different.

      Thanks for the quick reply!

Thanks, I thought everything was going too smoothly.

At least I'll be getting all the big brakes (the Aspire is an auto) front & rear, sway bar, radiator, wheels & tires and a running 1.3L engine.

Luckily I have another Festiva available that has the 5-spd and trans mounts, and now the wiring bundle too.

        96-97 Aspire is OBD2, Festiva is OBD1.

Not advisable to use the aspire sway bar by the way.
