Bp swap help please

Ok engine is swapped in I'm having some problems there are tiny black wires one connector has 2 wires one has one and they get a constant hot and also the bp10 ecu doesn't send a ignition signal I have the fourth wire ran to the ecu but it won't send a spark the b3 ecu will though

Update they were ground wires I'm just a dumby only problem now is that I don't have a manual bp throttle body I kinda rigged the b3 TB to fit and it works the engine starts we had some air leaks so it wouldn't run under like 1/2 throttle but it'd run at 5k+ so we rtved the air leaks and fixed all the vacuum lines ( im gonna have to go back and clean it all up when it's running good) just letting it dry now also how do you know when to stop fill the tranny with fluid

Manual trans have a built in dip stick on the speedo gear. Start with 3 qt on a dry trans (g series). The E series takes 2.6 qt.

I use pennzoil synchromesh in mine. It's much smoother to shift. Reccommended fluid is atf.

Thanks guys also will a bp manual tps work on a throttle body that originally had a auto tps like is the throttle body itself different I can't seem to find the manual tb but I can get the tps and connector off rockauto for $50

The short answer is no, not without a lot of custom work. It has been done, and someone here even showed all their steps with pictures, but it is alot of work. The throttle bodies are different between the 2.

I'm not certain, but I think you might be able to use a b8 manual Throttle body or possibly a Miata BP manual throttle body.

Oh ok at least the range widens with that haha I mean it runs with the b3 tb doesn't idle great without the iac and it has a cel but it does run

Adjust the idle screw out and get your ignition timing dialed in. You don't need the IAC unless you have A/C.

Ok help is needed again bp is back in with the g series and it runs... Not great though it has a b8 manual tb itll start right up and stall immediately or I can play with the throttle and keep it running it runs good at 1200+ rpm and will rev up fine but below 1200 it spits studders misses shakes can't really go below 1k without stalling I just replaced all the vacuum lines also I wasn't running coolant as the rad support wasn't fanned yet is the lack of coolant for the ecm to know temp an issue? Everything seems correct besides timing which I have to get a new light for but I'm baffled here

I'm almost positive there's an air leak I can't find maybe a bad gasket intake or tb it symptoms just scream air leak
