    Bushings are necessary to absorb the shock loads to keep things from work hardening and cracking. They also allow articulation.

    The wheel hop you're trying to eliminate is coming more from oscilation In the drivetrain and shock/spring combo when the tire unloads. Remember, the tire is a spring too.

      The remedy for wheel hop is move the driveline further forward, equal length drive shafts and slower rebound dampening on the front shocks. Like Arty said, Eliminating flex will make it worse, as you'll transfer more of the engines shock load to the contact patch.
