  • B6T G5MR Flywheel bolts and Clutch Plate Bolts Torque to Yield?

    Hey guys,

Took off my clutch and flywheel on my B6T and notice that instead of a grade it has a little arrow, that means they are torque to yield correct? I was going to buy ARPs for the flywheel bolts, but what should I use to replace the clutch plate to flywheel bolts? Does ARP also make a replacement for them?

If they're factory they aren't. I've always reused the bolts.

Huh, I thought it was weird they didn't have a rating, just a little arrow on them. Okay then, I'll reuse them. Thanks!

Most oem stuff doesn't have a rating on them just manufacturer markings.

I've only been working with Toyota lately so I know they have ratings but that's good to know, hopefully I put all the bolts back in the flywheel, hahaha. Thanks for the info.

I've had bolts from an e series that had tty on the head and some with a grade marking on them not sure what was oem and want wasn't. My b6d bolts didn't have anything on them iirc I reused them all but the tty ones witch I assumed torque to yeld . Just some lock tight and torqed property and you should be good to go.
