Building b3 questions

I recently picked up a 93 and found out one of my cylinders is scarred pretty good. I havnt had much luck finding a b6 and have thought about boring out the b3. Does anyone on here have experience doing this or know where I can find oversized pistons? I found some .40 over but they are not available anymore

Buying an entire running B3 will typically be cheaper than paying for the pistons and machine work

That's what I was starting to find out. I ended up coming across a b6t. Just trying to peice together some parts for that now

No Core returned required. This is the cheapest I've seen these anywhere. They have the small/short nose crank so you would need to get crank pulleys for it though.

Or you can get a brand new short block for $599. I bought one of these year before last and put it in my Rosie. Runs like new of course. (Advise rebuilding head for it).

If the rebuild was available at that price when I bought the new short block, I would have bought it instead.
