  • Mud festiva

So I bought a 91' festiva awhile recently, 200k everything works for $250. I wanted a little toy. Well I hit a tree and started looking into all of this and now I'm hooked. I got the body fixed after tracking down a fender and headlight but I still want it to be a toy. I've used miselaneous parts to lift the rear 3 1/2 inches and had blocks made for the front. I've got 26×11-12 fourwheeler tires and wheels for it. What I'm wanting to know is what I can do to get this transmission to a lower gearing?

The F series box from a 2002-2005 KIA Rio is geared quicker, 19.5mph per 1000rpm in 5th gear with a tall 14 inch tire
        No car too fast !

Are the tires in the picture the 26x11-12 tires that you described? They don't look that big compared to what I have on and mine are only 25x6-14

Welcome to the forum, bring that out to carlyle lake in carlyle illinois for lakestiva meet June 2nd.
And for trans you could always swap in an auto. Might be better for off roading as well.

Do you have any pictures of what you did on the front?

I answered your other post about CV Axles but I wanted to keep the pictures on this post.

According to the THIS post, the Aspire trans would give you a higher final drive. I am not sure how much of a difference it would make but looking at a .377 vs .405

Sorry I haven't kept up lately Im new to forums, 155's are still on I'm a little delayed at the moment the car is too tall for my jack now it slipped off and crushed my hand. I have to get the spacers ordered, I just have to take care of the CV axles and I think it's the last step. I extended the tie rods 3 inches, and mounted the lower control arms on 1/4 steel 2 1/2 inches lower. The tires pictured I got for free behind a tire shop the have a couple nails in them but nothing patches and tubes can't fix.

These are the blocks I had made. I ordered regular top hats for a solid fit on the strut tower, I need to get it outside and get more detailed pictures but I will update as soon as I do

I had to go get a new jack once I raised mine too, it started getting sketchy with a triple stack of 2x4s on the jack lol. I had to massage the inner fender with a big hammer to make my tires fit.

What is the size of your new tires?

The tires off of it are 26-11 12's. I need to get 7 inch wide wheels and I have 1" 1/2 wheel adapters to 4×100 to accept golf cart wheels. $40 a wheel ain't bad
