  • How much HP will stock tranny take?

I see there's a post about the stock clutch. I'm wondering how much HP will a stock tranny handle?

According to others 100 - 125 would be safe , some have had 165 tq and broke it . It just depends on how you are going to drive it , don't side step the clutch at 5 grand .

hp shouldn't be your concern, focus on torque, that's what breaks trannys and such.

What is the weak link in the tranny? What breaks first?
