turboing a 1.8L!!

hey guys, how hard is it to turbo my escort gt 1.8L engine. what is needed in terms of computer, turbo, fuel managemennt etc. can it be done?? thanks

If you have to ask, you probable won't be able to do it. Sorry, but posts like this come on here all the time, read the archives, and do some research on the web. you need turbo, fuel managment, exhaust, routing, exhaust, a turbo, computer, etc. Anything can be done with money, time, and expertise.

I wouldn't agree, if you asked your heading in the right direction, you can do it, because believe it or not, if you take your time, and do the research it really isn't that hard to turbo. I would suggest going to the Club Protege forum for more direct information, considering they have been turboing the 1.8 longer than we have.
