in a stock festiva...only if you wanna go off roading lol. but i know your not running a stock festiva. lol hey it depends on what transmission you put in to replace the one you blew up. if you go with another festiva time bomb then hell no, don't get it you'll just blow that spider gear out again (unless your half shafts snap first :twisted: ) Add lots of traction + lots of power + weak trans-axle = broken parts. if you upgrade to the Capri tranny, it'll be worth your moola, will def help put the power to the pavement instead of using your tires for asphalt crayons lol.

actually I never broke another spider gear after the PG was in. I did break a case(I then reinforced that on the next one), then I broke both gears for 3rd(replaced them with spares laying around), then second gear, and then fourth gear. If you are running a stock B6t or any of the NA swaps you probably wont have so many problems but since it has been proven possible just swap the trany.
