    So my name is Robert I hang around classic-celica.com a lot and I am like a forum whore if you see new2......... It is most likely me!! I am a full time student (Maritime Engineer) 3rd almost done Well I bought a 4efte a while back to put in a 90 rusted tercel but it went south and I bought and fell in love with 70s celicas. So the engine has been sitting now it needs go in something!!
    I found a festi for $50.00 so my manager, (@ Sears Auto) and I are going to try and put it in the festiva. any info you all throw at me is great.

    1.3L
    Turbo
    ECU/wiring
    FUEL/PUMP
    cv joints
    shift linkage and tranny
    hydro clutch
    inercooler


    Festiva
    1990ish
    little rust/may need hood
    needs front rotors/calipers, rear drums
    There is a big difference between built and bought.........one takes skill the other simply takes money!!

    I think your biggest problem will be the axles. These cars are so simple that as long as it is a 1990+ it will be a FI car so you won't need to run new fuel lines or put in a different gas tank. Let us know how it goes. Sounds like an interesting option. -Kyle

      what would be the issue with axles?
