Mazda B series engine?

I read somewhere that the festivas used to have mazda b series engines. would a late 80's early 90's b series engine fit in a festiva easily or is there alot of modification? just wondering if anyine knew..

The late 80's B6 from a 323 is a direct bolt in. Other B series engines will also work with some extra work involved depending on the engine.

Yeah I heard the 323's are direct bolt ins. would it be hard to convert it to manual instead of auto?
