Well I didn't make the mount. What a crappy mount. Don't make any mounts like these guys.. I am going to make a thicker mount where the torque doesn't tear the steel.

And that's the mount that sees the least amount of force. Must have used some crappy steel. I'd fab up one of those no weld mounts.

whats the thickness on that steel? i never use anything less than 1/4 inch steel, and even then plenty of bracing to go with it.
thats what ive got on my 2 tranny mounts since i dont have a crossmember...1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!
