  • nitrous??

hey guys i was wondering what is the difference between a dry system and a wet system and which one would be more suited for the 1.8l engine. also i have heard of many different ways of using nirtous but when is the best time to activate it when your drag racing?? like turn it on right off the line or between certain gears etc. my car is standard so i was wondering when is the best time to use it??
    thanks

A dry system simply sprays nitrous ,, and depends on the injectors to make up the difference on a FI car .

A wet system is nitrous and gas , using a 2nd fuel pump .
wet system is more for higher amounts of spray , and you can compensate with the gas from the 2nd system .
Wet actually has 2 lines that go into 1 and mixes the 2 .

I know someone will have more .
Our Z has a dry on it now , and has a new wet system that will be installed this spring .
Wet is much safer for higher amounts .
