GTX axles - BP Transmission?

I've recently come across a GTX being parted out and I was curious of the GTX front axles could be used with a BP tranny? Anyone?

They are different because the tranny is completely different right?

I had the wife order my 1988 323gt FWD axles for me, hope she ordered the right ones :-) We will see wednesday!.

Yeah, I knew the tranny was different, but I was hoping only the back of the tranny (that's closest to the firewall) was.
