Festy vs Aspire

I want to swap a aspire 5 speed for my auto since the aspire has a better 406 final drive. Are there any differences between the two transmissions that could cause any hang ups in the swap process? I assume that both are identical except for the final drive gear. Should I use the aspire speedo cable instead of the festys?

Well 1st through 5th gear ratios are the same however the final drive ratios differ. The Festiva has a 3.777 and the Aspire has a 4.06 which means the aspire will accelerate faster but have a higher crusing RPM. You can use a gear speed calculator to see the actual difference in MPH at the shifting RPM and the cruising RPM differences.
