  • Bigger axles ............ Aspire? Escort? etc.

Are Aspire axles any larger in diameter than a Festiva's? If not, are Escort's or another car's axles bigger in diameter that will fit in the Festiva or Aspire hub (except the hard to find capri ones)? I'm not concerned about the length of them at this point just if they have the same size outer splines and are bigger in diameter. Thanks for any info.

Even if they were bigger in diameter they would not fit in your car, beacuse the splines are of the same number. No axels are bigger, and beefier.

Not bigger splines, if the axles are bigger in diameter. Of course the splined part wouldn't fit if it was bigger in diameter.........

theres nothing that will replace your festys axles. everything else has a larger diameter spline or is the wrong length.

i wouldnt worry about it, ive never heard of a festy axle breaking...

if your running a g-series transmission you can use 323GT axles, but not GTX axles... and those wont work with the stock festiva tranny.

i have a tranny out of an 88 mazda 323, the axles are thicker, and the splines are the same, and i have had it in my festiva, so i know the axles are the same length as well
