It's possible - I'm not going to make any claims until it stays up for several tankfulls.

I hope they all get switched soon. I normally get between 40 and 45 in my 91 5 speed, this winter I was getting about 35-38. I have been back up to 42 depending on where I get my fuel.
I agree, but can't attribute it all to "winter" gas, as I used to, because I noticed my mileage increased last month when we had a warm spell and then fell back again when it turned cold again!
As an estimate I figure about 2 to 2.5 mpg loss due to "winter" gas and another 2-2.5 mpg due to cold weather.

            Hey anyone in Canada.
Do you have "winter" gas and if not do you see a difference in mpg based on temperature alone?

also, in the winter how many people let their car warm up for around 10 minutes. this also would cut down the mpg.

Filled it again just now, got 41.3 mpg. No long freeway trips in that tank full. I got about 46 mpg on the way back from the Ohiostiva spring fling thing (entirely freeway). This is at 3 clicks tighter (I backed off one click several weeks ago because the plugs looked really white - now they have a *slight* tan tint, which looks better to me). So it seems to me I've gotten a solid 5 mpg increase, or 12% (if I'm doing the math right). I'm going to glue the top of the VAF back on and call it a success

Would you recommend this for a B6 swap?

What direction do you turn to increase mpg? I thought I read counter clockwise but now I can't find it
