throttle body coolant lines???

  • throttle body coolant lines???

    what are these for? the collant lines on the throttle body, isnt that in effect heating the incoming air?

    and would it hurt to plug them?

    it suppose to help with cold starts i believe it warms the metal up with the coolant i know mustang guys just bypass them im not sure how there ran on the 1.3

      Southern Festivas don't have them so I don't think they're critical.

        You'll get worse mpg during the winter and when it's cold, didn't run as good either. I didn't notice any hp difference unless it was really hot.. but that was rare.
