Were there two motor types for the 92 festiva, one with hydraulic rocker arms and one without?

1988 to 1989 Festivas with manual transmissions had manually adjusted valve adjusters. 1990 and up with manual trans had HLA (hydraulic lash adjusters). Auto trans Festys from 1989 on up had the HLAs. Basically, Carburated cars were not hydraulic and fuel injected cars had the HLA.
