Aspire intake tube fitted to my festiva.

A while back i replace the TB half of the intake tube with an aspire piece to clean things up and also to improve flow just a hair.

The install required no trimming of the underside of of the hood, everything fits without modification.

I took the complete Aspire intake tube and cut it off just behind the first flex section, removed the festy parts and slipped the front half of the festy tube onto the back half of the aspire tube using the stock clamp.

Also note that you may need the Valve cover breather tube fromthe aspire as it routes a tad differently.

Just did this up today. This a very nice mod, easy and cleans things up nicely.

Y'know, I went out and picked up an Aspire intake tube today. I went back to the garage, cut it in half. and then remembered that since I'm using a B6 intake, it won't work. Damn!

(My intake positions the throttle body back by almost an inch. Don't know why. It just sort of happens.
