  • rev limiter

I have a five speed '93 festiva and I just installed a small sunpro rpm. I was wondering if it reads correctly. I see 600 rpm at idle, the rev limiter kicks in at 6500 rpm and at 120km/h I'm at 2900 rpm in fifth gear.
Can somebody with a stock rpm (built in the cluster) check if this is correct please? Other aftermarket tachs might be a bit off too so I would appreciate an answer from someone who has a factory tach in their car.

    Thanks

I would have to say that the aftermarket tachs are going to be correct and the factory tach is going to be the piece of shit. At least that is how it is in the mustang and Honda business.

      rpm

aspire one is deadly exact, i check it with a 15 000$ scan tool and it is 1000 rpm for a 980 reading and 6000 rpm for 5980 rpm.
