Mk2 Seats?

Looking threw the local yard. Found a VW Golf Mk2 with leather interior. The seats were in verry good condition. It seems like they would work out well seeing the Golf is a very small car as well. Do you see any issues?

That issss not the car but same interior.

The only issue you might have is making custom mounting brackets for them.

what yr are they from, they look nice.

Yup, fab up a couple of mounts, and you've got new seats. The only possible issue is that the base of the seat may be a hair wider, and getting to your adjusters on the sides might become a little tricky. This is a pretty common problem with any seat swap in almost any car anyway, so no worries.

Well they are just leather seats from any MK2 I believe.. Mk2's are golfs from mid - late 80's. I think... not a VW fan

Vw seats have f-ed up mounts, too much trouble.. the festiva seats are a lil screwy too, making it a pita to change seats.
