  • grease on paint

    how would you remove grease of the paint on fender and hood. what products are available that you would use. this is a white festiva.

    Dawn dish soap.

    Otherwise bug and tar removers or just plain mineral spirits.

        If you're using Dawn dish soap, you will probably want to add a layer of wax after you're done. Dawn will strip any wax you've got on right off.

        I think using a nice wash rag and good soapy water should remove it.

          People wax their festivas/aspires?


          I tried once, but it was too hard to get it out of the rock chips. Made my car look worse. LOL.

                ^^ i need to wash mine more lol

                although i did take pressure washer to the engine bay, it's not clean yet, but it's a lot better

                      rag and soapy water wont do it. i know that from experience.
