I made a set for my 71 beetle out of masonite. i thought about doing the same thing for my 88 festy but killed the motor And my 90 has a real nice set. if you need any help just ask.Going old school...

some guy back a little while ago on ebay was making custom b2200 door panels. He would cover them with tweed and lay any design into the door panel in a raised fashion. 179 a pair. I wanted him to do a set that sais kia pride cd-5 along the top---------------------------------------------------

1/8''. On the Beetle. a 1/4 hole is all I needed to do for the clips. If you are interested in doing your own, it is very easy if you have your old panels. Just use them as templates. As for some 'custom' touches you should head to your local book store and check out this book http://tinyurl.com/2otvwt Great book very helpful.Going old school...

i used the old ones as templates and made new ones out of sintra pvc board. wrapped them in foam and leather. quick diy.Comment

Here is mine I use the old panel and put some leather on it:
BPT, G5M-R, BP26 Exintake swap + Fidanza cam gear, NSRT4 FMIC + 2.5" piping, HKS SSQV BOV, Exedy clutch, 3" downpipe + 2" all the way back, Aspire brake swap, KYB GR-2 & FMS coil spring , FMS EURO body kit + Carbon fiber hood, Falcon RTX 15X6½ + Toyo proxes T1R 195/45R15Comment
