I have one. I bought it back in '94 off a friend who crashed his Festiva. Installs in a few minutes.
I carry a few quick clamps and a tie down strap all the time so I can carry anything I need. Full sheets of plywood, mattresses or an extension ladder are no problems.

Thanks, i usually carry two bikes in the back(i removed the rear seat to allow better seating for the bikes) lucky me they're just bmx bikes, i have gotton three bikes three people, but its a hassle, and sometimes getting booted from spots its a hard to put bikes in cars quick, thanks for the photos, it looks real neat, do you know the specs of the cross rails and all that jazz?no more festy..

you know, you could probably get one anodized since they're most likely alum., which you could do in your garage or basement with the right chemicals, or i bet its cheap somewhere, look around. well, here, i found a website for ya; http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/a...FQ3YggodhmKJLwno more festy..

I need one of these roof racks for my handyman business. It sucks that I have to cut the plywood and then put it in the car, when I could just throw a whole sheet on the roof. It would be nice to have a place to put a ladder as well:-)90 Festiva with Brand new B3, 5spd
